By requesting a booking you are deemed to agree to the following terms and conditions:

• You warrant that your dog is fit, healthy and up to date with all necessary vaccinations.
• Grooming may expose underlying, pre-existing skin or health problems that Pawfect Pooch Grooming cannot be held liable for.
• If we feel that de-matting your dog would cause too much stress and discomfort we will recommend a complete shave off. This will dramatically change your dog’s appearance as their hair will be short and close to the skin. The client should be aware that skin irritation might occur from the shaving process. This could include, but is not limited to; itchiness, skin redness, irritations or abrasions. Pawfect Pooch Grooming will not be held liable for any problems caused by a complete shave off whether requested by the client or due to a matted/neglected coat.
• The dog owner should maintain their dogs coat in between regular grooming appointments. Dogs with matted coats will be charged extra.
• Our first concern is for the welfare of your dog so in the event of injury or illness we may call a vet and unless it can be clearly shown that Pawfect Pooch Grooming is liable, all costs in connection with and in the carrying out of this instruction shall be at the owners’ expense.
• Pawfect Pooch Grooming requests that owners ensure their dog has been toileted prior to arrival.
• Payment must be made on collection of the dog. Owners are requested to collect their dogs at the time stated.
• If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for an appointment without contacting us, then we may have to reschedule your slot and reserve the right to charge 50% of the full groom price.
• If you provide less than 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment for your dog or miss your dog’s appointment completely you will be charged 50% of the full groom price which shall need to be paid in full prior to rebooking another appointment.
• You must advise us of any pre-existing medical conditions your dog has, if they have been prescribed any medication by a vet and any other information which you feel we should know.
• Photographs may be taken of your dog during their groom which shall be posted on social media or used in marketing activities unless you notify us otherwise. We shall photograph/video every case of neglect brought into the salon for grooming. We reserve the right to use these items as we deem appropriate.
• Ear plucking and anal gland expression are deemed vet procedures and are not part of any service provided at Pawfect Pooch Grooming.
• Should your dog’s behaviour place anyone or itself in danger, then the groom will be stopped, you will be required to collect your dog and the full cost of the groom will apply however little grooming had been carried out.
• Pawfect Pooch Grooming will not force any procedure on your dog, therefore if your dog objects to any part of the groom that part will not be performed. Price reductions will not be offered for incomplete grooms due to the dog’s behaviour.
• Please do not bring your dogs for grooming who are exhibiting signs of ill health such as vomiting, diarrhoea and coughing.
• If fleas are discovered on your dog during the groom, there will be a non-negotiable fee starting at £10 (increasing with severity) that will be added to the original groom price. This is to cover the cost of flea shampoo for your dog and disinfectant for the salon to prevent them from being passed onto other dogs.
• We shall refuse to groom dogs that present a risk of injury to themselves or staff.
